I opened my tiny eyes
And saw her smile
And I knew, I never would need to worry in life
She would take care of me
Till my very last breath

I saw his smile
And I knew he was in love with me
I played hard to get
But he was always patient with me

They both shouted and scolded
They both encouraged and motivated
They both asked me to get down to earth
They both said I was 'perfect'

No one in this world can love
Like they do
If there is any unconditional love
They define it

I love them how much,
I don't know
But I know, that they love me
With everything they have

Sometimes I wonder
Why should they
And they smile and tell you
'Coz you’re mine'

I pray to my Lord today
To keep them happy always
The smile on their face
And happiness in their hearts

For the most beautiful gift God has given us
Are parents.
